Wapspin Player Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 17, 2026
App: Wapspin Player (Play Store title: Wapspin: Music & Video Player)
Developer: GameOrg
Contact: myworldplug@gmail.com

This Privacy Policy explains what information Wapspin Player ("the app", "we", "us") handles when you use it. Wapspin Player is a free music and video player for the audio and video files that are already stored on your Android device. It is supported by advertising.

1. The short version

  • Your music and videos stay on your phone. The app does not upload, copy or share your media files.
  • You do not need an account, and the app does not ask for your name, email address, phone number or location.
  • We do not run our own servers that collect your personal data.
  • The app shows ads through Google AdMob. Google may collect certain device and advertising information to show and measure ads (see section 4).

2. Information that stays on your device

To work as a player, the app reads and stores the following only on your device:

  • Your media library. The app reads the list of audio and video files on your phone (titles, artists, albums, durations, folders and thumbnails) through Android's media storage. A copy of this list is kept inside the app so it opens quickly.
  • Your settings and choices. For example your selected theme, unlocked features, equalizer choice, playback switches, excluded folders, and your star rating of the app.
  • Your playback state. The current queue and position, so playback can continue where you left off.
  • Trash list. If you move files to the app's Trash, the app remembers which files, so it can hide them and let you restore them.
  • Usage counters. Simple counters, such as how many songs you played, which are used to decide when to politely ask you to rate the app and how often an ad may appear.
  • Ad-free time. When you earn ad-free time by watching rewarded videos, the app stores when it ends.

This information is not sent to us. It is removed when you clear the app's storage or uninstall the app.

3. Permissions the app asks for

  • Audio and video files (READ_MEDIA_AUDIO, READ_MEDIA_VIDEO; on older Android versions, storage access). To find and play the music and videos on your phone.
  • Storage write access (Android 9 and older only). Used only to delete audio or video files that you choose to delete inside the app. On newer Android versions, the system asks for your confirmation instead.
  • Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS). To show playback controls in the notification area and on the lock screen.
  • Foreground service for media playback and wake lock. So music keeps playing when the screen is off or the app is in the background.
  • Internet and network state. Used only to load ads and to open links such as this policy. Your media files are never sent over the internet.
  • Advertising ID (AD_ID). Used by Google's advertising services (see section 4).

You can change or withdraw these permissions at any time in your phone's Settings. Some features will not work without them, for example the app cannot list your music without access to your audio files.

4. Advertising and third-party services

Wapspin Player is free and is supported by ads. The app uses these third-party services, which have their own privacy policies:

  • Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK shows banner, interstitial, app open and rewarded video ads. Google and its partners may collect and use information such as your device's advertising ID, IP address, device and app information (model, operating system version, app version), and how you interact with ads, in order to show ads, measure them, prevent fraud and, where you allow it, personalize them. Learn more: Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
  • Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) shows a consent form where the law requires it (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and some US states) and records your choice, so ads are shown according to your preference.

Your ad choices. You can reset your advertising ID or turn off ad personalization in your Android settings (usually Settings > Privacy > Ads, or Settings > Google > Ads). Where a consent form is shown, you can change your choice at any time from the app's Settings, if that option is available for your region, or by clearing the app's data so the form appears again. You can also visit Google Ads Settings.

Ads are shown only while the app is open on your screen. Watching a rewarded video is always your choice and is used to unlock features such as themes, the equalizer and the sleep timer, or to earn a period of ad-free time.

5. Information we do not collect

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, precise or approximate location, microphone recordings or payment information. We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your media files for any purpose other than playing them on your device.

6. If you contact us

If you choose to send feedback, the app may open your email app with a message addressed to us. Anything you send is your decision. We will use your email address and message only to reply to you and to improve the app, and we will not share them with anyone else. If you email us at myworldplug@gmail.com directly, the same applies.

7. Children's privacy

Wapspin Player is a general-audience app and is not directed at children under 13 (or under the minimum age set by the law in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us at the email above and we will help.

8. Data security and retention

Because your library, settings and playback state are stored only on your device, they are protected by your device's own security. We keep no copy of them. They remain until you clear the app's data or uninstall the app. Data handled by Google's advertising services is kept according to Google's own policies.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the European Economic Area and the UK, or the CCPA/CPRA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal information, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Since we do not hold personal information about you, most of this is done directly on your device (clear the app's data, uninstall the app, or change your ad settings as described above). For information held by Google, use Google's privacy tools. You can also write to us at myworldplug@gmail.com and we will respond.

10. Links to other sites

The app may open links to other websites or to Google Play (for example this policy or the app's store page). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites, so please read their policies.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example when the app adds a feature. The new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Please check it now and then. Using the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
